Revisioo is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This policy outlines our approach to child protection and online safety.

Revisioo recognizes that the welfare of children is paramount. We are committed to:

  • Providing a safe and secure online learning environment for all pupils
  • Ensuring all content is age-appropriate and curriculum-aligned
  • Moderating all user-generated content before it becomes visible
  • Implementing robust data protection and privacy measures
  • Training staff on safeguarding best practices

Content Moderation

All user-generated content within Revisioo undergoes moderation:

  • Discussion posts and comments require teacher approval before appearing to other pupils
  • Automated filters detect inappropriate language and flag content for review
  • Teachers can remove or reject any content that violates our community guidelines
  • Safeguarding alerts are sent to school admins for serious concerns

Data Protection

We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018:

  • Minimal personal data collection - only what's necessary for the service
  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Parents can request access to their child's data at any time
  • Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing

Teacher & School Responsibilities

Schools and teachers using Revisioo should:

  • Monitor pupil activity and moderate content regularly
  • Follow their own school's safeguarding policies
  • Report any concerns through the platform's safeguarding tools
  • Ensure pupils understand acceptable use and online safety
  • Keep login credentials secure and not share with unauthorized persons

Policy Updates

This safeguarding policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in legislation, best practices, and platform features. Schools will be notified of any significant changes.
